beginner needing help
hello i'm new to the boards as well as illustrator so i hope this is the right forum to ask this question. i'm trying to develop a celtic knot type design using this tutorial i found http://zilla774.deviantart.com/art/Celt ... l-17975436 i got it to work once, but now whenever i create objects such as the circles, the circles overlap one another as a whole new layer (with shape + white background) blocking out the previous circle i made. can someone point out to me what option i turned on that i need to turn off please? thank you! also perhaps someone else has an idea on how to create what i want. i'm trying to re-create something like this http://www.junction-produce.co.jp/engli ... index.html .. what other options are there that i can create that with?
